چکیده

Objective: The mean platelet volume lymphocyte ratio (MPVLR) and (MPVPR) reflect inflammation more effectively strongly than MPV, lymphocyte, platelet, neutrophil counts separately, we aimed to evaluate the importance of MPVLR MPVPR in COVID-19 patients. Material Methods: Patients with were divided into two groups based on whether their RT-PCR test resulted a positive or negative result. MPVLR, MPVPR, neutrophil, MPV RDW levels compared between these groups. In addition, changes before after treatment whole patient population. Results: There 113 patients diagnosed PCR 79 test. Before treatment, level was 7.2±0.85 group 5.4±0.29 (p=0.04). Post-treatment 5.7±0.4 4.9±0.26 groups, respectively (p=0.09). 0.046±0.002 0.035±0.001 (p=0.003). After 0.040±0.002 PCR-positive 0.032±0.001 PCR-negative (p=0.023) Conclusion: This study is first demonstrate high should be evaluated radiological clinical symptoms.

Reference Values of Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio, Platelet-Lymphocyte Ratio and Mean Platelet Volume in Healthy Adults in North Central Nigeria

Background: Recently, Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), Platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and Mean platelet volume (MPV) have become increasingly useful as predictive and prognostic tools in patients with various medical conditions. To make for easy interpretation and application, the reference values of these parameters in healthy adults need to be established in our environment. Objectives: To...
